After very little marketing with Mad Pigs, I wanted to get a head start on the marketing for my next game, Color Down. I have created a Facebook page that is updated frequently, and have received 27 likes so far. My goal right now is 50. In the near future, I might start advertising the page on Facebook, and will be linking people to it (like I am right now). Anyways, if you haven't liked it, head on over!

Color Down in action
After finishing Mad Pigs and doing a bit of marketing, I have started a new game. As of right now, the name is "Color Down", but could change at any time. The game is a fast-paced, difficult, and arcade-styled. This time around, I am doing all of the art myself, using a program called Inkscape. I'm hoping to learn much more about the program, and I'm loving the luxury to be able to create art assests whenever I want to instead of having to ask someone else to do it. However, I don't regret having my last artist, Jordon Brownlee, draw the images himself.

FYI, the picture above is not very high quality since I took it on the computer in GameSalad's testing simulator. It looks okay on the computer, but terrible on the iPhone. With that said, the graphics are in fact retina, and will look gorgeous once on the iPhone.

If you have any questions or comments about the game, or anything else, just leave a comment below. Thanks for taking the time to read this, and I hope you enjoy playing it when it comes out. My intentions are to release it for free, but I may be charging some $$ this time around since I haven't made a penny since starting game development 5-7 months ago.

Regards,
Jack McGraw

My Work Station
First of all I'm happy to say that Mad Pigs has gotten a total of 164 downloads since its release. That might not seem like many downloads for some of you, but I'm very excited.

So let's cut to the chase. Here's what is planned for version 1.1... Please leave a comment if you have any other recommendations.

- Make joystick bigger, transparent, and fix the pegging glitch 100%
- Finish world 5
- Create a fully functionaly bacon store with many upgrades

1.1 will probably be released within a month. Once I come out with the update, I'm going to start working on a new game. Hopefully I can even finish it this summer.

Thanks for taking the time to read this!
